I have a 2000 Volvo S80 and am sure it's the same procedure. You will need Sylvanian H7 or equivalent bulbs for the car. Make sure the car is off when replacing Under the hood, behind the Headlamp assembly, there's a dome shaped cover. Unstrew this to get at the headlamps. There is a retaining clip that must be pushed, at the top, to the side a little and pulled down. You can now pull the lamp out and disconnect it from the leads. Just replace the lamp and reassemble before starting the car to check. Hope this helps.
go to halfords
Take the headlight Bezel off, unscrew the chrome bracket and the light falls out, just replace the bulb and reinstall the bracket and Bezel
with your hands ?
ask someone else to do it
1/4 turn to release the old bulb.
very carefully very carefully
Don't look on this site anyway
Carefully! there very expensive.
Replace the battery and recharge if a rechargable battery if not it might need new bulb
Remove the air intake splash shield from the vehicle. Remove the 2 headlamp retaining bolts. Remove the lamp assembly from the front of the vehicle. Detach the headlamp connector. Remove the headlamp bulb retaining ring. Remove the headlamp bulb from the headlamp.
Open the hood. There are three hex head bolts that hold each headlamp to the van. Remove each bolt and gently pull headlamp out from grill using the small handle-like grip. The headlamp will remain connected to the van with the lightbulb socket. Twist the collar away from the bulb then pull the bulb assembly out of the headlamp. Replace bulbs and reassemble components.
Open the hood and find the electrical lead into the headlamp: that plugs directly into the bulb, which is screwed into the headlamp. You just need to remove the plastic shield over the back of the headlamp to gain access, unplug the electrical lead, and unscrew the bulb. Replace the bulb, reattach the lead, and reinstall the shield. A 10-minute job!
