Unscrew the round grey dust covers located at the back of the lens inside the hood of the car. These will be directly behind the headlights. Once they are off, there is a metal spring clip that holds the bulb secure against the hole where the bulb fits inside the lens. One side of the clip attaches to a small hook on the bulb socket. Lift up on the hook to release it and swing the entire clip out of the way to release the bulb socket. Twist the old bulb out of the socket and with latex gloves on, place the new bulb in the socket. The latex gloves prevent oil from your skin to touch the bulb causing it to fail early. Once the bulb is in the socket, position the socket flush against the hole in the lens and swing the clip into its original position. There is not much room to work while positioning the clip in its proper position. If your hands are too big to fit in the small work space, you may have to remove the battery to gain additional clearance. This is a terrible design compared to other cars that simply twist the socket to remove the bulb. Once the new bulb is secure, replace the dust covers and you are finished.
