If your car has the V6 engine the ignition coil is mounted to the intake manifold next to the distributor.
First unplug the wires from the coil. Take note of which way they come out so you can put them back.
Then take out the bolts that hold the coil in place on the intake manifold.
The factory original coil is riveted to the mounting bracket, new coils come without the mounting bracket. You will need to take the rivets out to remove the old coil from the bracket. The new coil come with screws to mount the coil to the bracket
Once the coil is mounted to the bracket then put the bracket back on the intake manifold.
Plug the wires back in, that should do it.

I would expect that the power for the fuel pump would be supplied through the ignition switch so I would start there, that is check the ignition switch.
take the steering wheel off and take the ignition lead off and then you buy a new ignition with new key or vis versa

The choke light came on in my 1984 Celebrity when the alternator belt broke thus not charging the battery. Replacing the belt caused the choke light to go out. Since then I have noticed that whenever the alternator is not putting out enough voltage the choke light comes on.
