It is secured with screws at the fenderwell.
Find your distributor cap and follow the center cable to a rectangular part. This is the ignition module. Remove it, get a new one and install it.
The 1993 Hyundai ignition module is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The ignition module will be on the drivers side of the firewall.
the ignition module is under the distibutor cap
Here is a page from google i visited about the module in question. http://www.ncf.ca/~ag384/IgnitionModule.htm
The ignition module is under the ignition coils The coils are bolted to the frt of the transmission housing. Follow the ignition wires to the coils The coils are bolted to the module underneath The module control spark to the spark plugs. It sends the required signal to the coil as to when to fire t then fires and "sends" the spark through the ignition wire to the spark plug

A 1993 what, Ford, Chevy, GMC, Dodge, Kia, ???
You might try a crankshaft position sensor first. Its probably cheaper than an ignition module.
I can't make any promises, but I've got 94 Chevy using OBD1, like yours probably has too. In my manual this is what it says: Code 42:Ignition Control Module - "Check the wiring and connectors between the ignition module and the ECM. Check the ignition module. Replace the ECM".Code 43:Electronic Spark Control - "ESC module is not receiving a knock signal from the knock sensor. Check the knock system sensor, or the ESC module. Have the module checked by a dealer service department." Hope that helps, good luck!
In the distributor, you need to remove the dist cap & then remove the rotor and it will be mounted to the distributor housing
