It is tough. I recommend you don't buy just the ball joint but the whole lower arm. It is available (upon ordering) at any parts stores. It is a bit more expensive (about $170) but replacing just the ball joint will not work as you have to compress the new ball joint in and it is likely it will not stay there (it happened to me). Also is there is a significant amount of rust there make sure you use an impact wrench to undo the bolts as I didn't and I had to cut a screw (one day job in the tight space there. You still need to rent ball joint removal tools from the parts store, but as you buy the parts from them they will lend them for free. The rest of the job is straight forward (1/2 day). Good luck!

Rather than replacing just the ball joints, replace the whole arm as replacing just the ball will more than likely not work. Use ball joint remover tools to remove and replace.
