You have to replace the lower control did assembly .
To replace the lower control arms on a 1994 Acura Integra safely raise and stabilize the car. Remove the lower ball joints and two bolts that hold the lower control arms to the car. Pull them off. Replace with a new unit.

Currently it seems like you have no choice but to replace the complete arm, that is all I can find available.
You can't service the lower ball joints by themselves. You must replace the entire lower control arm.
Detach lower ball joint from steering knuckle. Remove bolts that secure control arm to vehicle.
The bottom suspension components on a 2002 Suzuki XL-7 will need to be loosen so the lower control arm can come off. Loosen the ball joint and then the hardware to remove the lower control arm. Align the new arm properly and replace the unit.

For the lower ball joint, remove the lower control arm and the ball joint seal. Press the ball joint from the control arm. Press the new ball joint into the lower control arm ensuring it is fully seated, install a new seal and the lower control arm.
THE BALL JOINT IS PART OF THE LOWER CONTROL ARM
The ball joint is an integral part of the lower control arms. Ergo you must replace the entire lower control arm. Dealer cost is about $450 ea there's no aftermarket availability that I have found. My car's not worth the price of the parts ro replace the arms. RATS.

no. it is bolted to the lower control arm with 3 bolts. look underneath the control arm
You can not just change the ball joint , you have to replace the whole lower control arm with ball joint.
Slide down to open the lower panel and gently pull it out. It is secured in a clip. There you can replace the battery.
you have to hammer out the three rivets that hold it to the control arm. but do yorself a favor and replace th whole control arm because the bushings on the arm are well known for falling out.

Yes, it is in the tank attached to the fuel level sending unit. You have to remove/lower the gas tank to get to it. Replace the gasket seal while you are at it.
probably or there part of the same piece ....normally there's multiple bushings on a lower control arm ...i guess it just depends on the vehicle and its probably easier to replace the whole arm rather then individual bushings.

Get a big hammer and beat the lower ball joint out from the top of the lower control arm then look at the new ball joint make sure they match before you press them in.
The lower ball joint presses out. You need a ball joint press you can rent one at autozone. Also, the lower control arm needs to be inspected real good,sometimes if the lower control arm bushings are worn bad enough its cheaper to replace the whole thing ,rather then try to repair the one you got. Remove the entire dash board, starting at the bottom. The control relays are on the lower right (passenger side).
In the Standard Beetle the ball joints are pressed into the trailing arms. You need a special press tool to replace these. In the Super Beetle the ball joint is part of the lower control arm, you replace the arm when the ball joint is worn out.

your lower control arm bushings need replacing. replace the sway bar links when you do the control arms
A mechanic would be able to help you with doing this. It is best to do it this way to avoid any problems later on.

Its not a real hard job if you have done one before. You can drill out the 3 rivets on it or you can replace the lower control arm. $40 bucks or $80 bucks...your choice(cheaper on eBay). Easier to replace the control arm. If you replace the ball joint,buy the better one of the bunch. autozone.com has online repair manual's or just pick one up at a parts store, you will need it later....trust me.

I had to replace my lower controll arm on my 2500 all you need is a picklefork and a bfh hammer and or a air hammer it should work well

to the best of my knowledge they have none All joints are sealed units and when they wear out you replace them. Usually only 4 on newer VW's. Two lower ball joints and two tie rod ends.
there is no lower control arm on a 2500, I would assume you are talking about the lower link.... easy do one side at a time raise vehicle so wheels hang, might want to support axle but not nessary and unbolt... then reverse to get the other in..... one side at a time remember...... so the axle will not rotate on you....
