To replace the lower control arms on a 1994 Acura Integra safely raise and stabilize the car. Remove the lower ball joints and two bolts that hold the lower control arms to the car. Pull them off. Replace with a new unit.
no you do not have to remove the strut just take the lower control arm lose.
You can replace just the ball joints on the lower control arms , but the upper ball joints come with a new control arm

Currently it seems like you have no choice but to replace the complete arm, that is all I can find available.

Detach lower ball joint from steering knuckle. Remove bolts that secure control arm to vehicle.
1969 Holden HT does not have king pins they have upper and lower arms with inner pivot bushes and outer ball joints
The bottom suspension components on a 2002 Suzuki XL-7 will need to be loosen so the lower control arm can come off. Loosen the ball joint and then the hardware to remove the lower control arm. Align the new arm properly and replace the unit.
