I just did this repair. First remove the air box. (three bolts). Next remove the right radiator fan (two screws). Now you have plenty of room to remove the hose. Use channel locks for the hose clamps. (remove). Remove hose. Buy new hose clamps. reverse to install. Fill radiator with 50/50 anti-freese. run motor check for leaks. top off radiator again. fill reservouir. there you have it.
It comes out of the bottom drivers side of the radiator and goes to the water pump.
Four cylinder, under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches. Six cylinder, under the housing where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine.
It is between the radiator and the grill.
A 1997 sadder and station wagon radiator is $900. The radiator cost approximately $700. The labor to install the radiator will be approximately $200.

Follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator to the engine, that's where it is.
On my 1997 & 1998 Luminas, the drain is on the lower drivers side of the radiator. Be careful, they break easily. If it is alredy broken, you will have to use the lower radiator hose.
