Take off the front plate that usually says Nissan on it (the plastic piece between the headlights)
it takes 2x 12mm bolts, and lifts off
take a small flathead screwdriver and pry the clip off that holds the plug on. DO NOT LOSE THE CLIP!!
the plastic harness will then slide out
loosen the 4x clips for the air box, and the hose clamp.
be careful, if it is cold the brittle plastic can break
use a 12" extension, for the 4x 10 or 12mm bolts
that will separate the MAF sensor from the air box, do not over tighten bolts, just snug them up
Replace the mass air flow meter(s) (MAF).
Now this depends on whether your car is a manual or an automatic and a twin turbo or a naturally aspirated version. Go to http://300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi There it will show you how to replace it.
A MAF sensor was not used in 1994. It don't have one.

i have a 300zx Nissan and i need to replace themultifunction switch i don't know how?
There is not a maf on corollas until the 2000 model

The 1994 S10 uses a MAP sensor, not a MAF sensor. We need to know size engine you have in that S10.
A Plymouth Voyager does not have a maf sensor.
try unplugging the maf sensor and see if it will continue to run. if so replace sensor.
The replacement of a MAF sensor will be different for vehicle models and brands. The MAF sensor bolts onto most engines, and is easy to change.
