You first have to make sure that there is no freon in the system and if there is none then you loosen up the fitting, the manifold or whatever and just remove the old one/ones and replace them with the correct one/ones...........
What part of the AC system needs to be replaced?
you have bad orings, wrong size, orings or you broke the other injectors or the their orings
The expansion valve is found inside the evaporator housing. To replace the AC system needs to be flushed legally. Then valve is only held down by a few mounting screws. Once the AC system is bled, loosen the screws and replace the unit.
They can get noisy and leak oil. You want to replace a noisy ac compressor before it fills the system with metal trash.
The freon has to be removed and the pressure released from the ac system. Then the valve can be removed and replaced. The system will need to have a vacuum pulled and freon put in again.
It can't be cleaned. If it is exposed to the atmosphere, such as from opening up an AC system, the desiccant will become saturated within five minutes. It your accumulator is malfunctioning, the only thing you can do is replace it - that requires recovery and storage of the refrigerant in the system, and this is why servicing an AC system is not a DIY task.
It is lo cated behind the dash. There is no short cut or fast way to replace it. The dash has to come out to access the heater box and replace the core. So the steps in replacing the heater core are to evacuate the freon out of the AC system, disconnect the heater hoses, disconnect the AC lines and AC drier from the evap core fittings, remove the dash, remove the entire AC/heater box, open the top of the case and replace the core. Reassembly is in the reverse order as disassembly. Recharge the AC system, fill the cooling system with new coolant, and burp the air form the cooling system.

how to replace ac hose assembly on 2005 jeep liberty
cause you have rubber orings that go on both ends of the injectors you probably need to replace them
DO NOT REMOVE THE AC COMPRESSOR. Do not ignore global warming and the federal laws you would be breaking. First take it to a qualified shop and have the freon captured for recycling. This will eliminate a real pollution problem as well as make the system easier to work on. If your freon has already leaked out, you have more problems than just a dead compressor. Now, loosen the serpentine belt. Disconnect the AC hoses. Remove the bolts holding the AC Compressor in place. Replace the AC Compressor. Remember to replace the receiver/drier unit every time you open the AC system. Have a qualified shop connect the receiver drier unit, replace the refrigerant in the system and test for leaks.
