I have a 1990 Buick Skylark and I need to remove the oil pan. How do you do it ? Help!! Just remove the spash shields in the way of the pan then remove the bolts from the pan and replace the gasket. You can find Buick manuals from Chiltons on Amazon for these cars. They're cheap nowadays.

It doesn't take motor oil! Special kind of oil you buy from the dealership! Cost about $10 a bottle
Remove the oil pan. To do that you usually need to lift the engine a little... but if you have low oil pressure the problem is rarely caused by an oil pump.
