Most block heaters are located in one of the "freeze plug" holes on the block. Freeze plugs look like 2 inch diameter indentations low in the block. One will have wire harness connected to it. The best way to find is probably to track back the electrical plug-in wire. Depending on how much room you have to work in, this can be a royal pain. You might want to find someone who routinely installs these as aftermarket parts and ask them what they would charge to do it. Or ask the dealer what it would cost. On my 2008 they pull off the whole cab to work on the engine because it is all jammed in. I would not be surprised if they would want $300 or so to change it out.
