It's pretty straight forward, get the special socket, you won't be sorry.
Locate the correct O2 sensor ( pre or post cat ) and remove electrical connector, then slide socket over the sensor with wires lined up on the slot, remove then replace.
If you don't want to buy the special socket you can unplug the harness and cut the wires off at the sensor. The old sensor is junk anyway. This will alllow you to slip a 7/8" box wrench over the sensor for removal. Use the 7/8" open end wrench to install. Tighten as you would a spark plug.

To replace the oxygen sensor disconnect the oxygen sensor electrical connector. Use an oxygen sensor socket to remove the sensor. spray the sensor with penetration oil if it is difficult to loosen. install in reverse.
