Call the 3-Day Blinds 800 number and give them your order number and ask that they send you the proper cord. (it's part of the warrantee)
A. On the bottom of the shade:
- Carefully pry off the plastic cover
- Pop off the end caps by depressing the catch in the track and sliding the cap off.
- Slide the bottom track off the shade.
B. On the top of the shade
- Pop off the end caps (one is the cord lock mechanism) as above.
- Slide the top track off the shade. (Note that the cord lock mechanism slide is different. You will need to reassemble the shade with that side in the right place.)
- Cut the old cord off near the plastic buttons on the bottom.
C. Restring the cord in the same way as the old cord.
D. Repeat the disassembly instructions in A and B above in reverse order to reassemble the blind.
