You have to buy the wheel bearing assembly.
How do you replace a rear wheel assembly?
i am trying to replace front brake pads on 1995 jaguar xjs 2+2 is there a video on how to do this
it might have to be pressed in with a machine call and ask people
You must remove the spindle a get to the bearing .The bearing is pressed into the spindle, this is not an easy task, removing the spindle involves disconnecting or removing brakes, tie rod ,lower ball joint, ect
The wheel bearing is part of the hub assy. it the part that the wheel attaches to. If you take your tire off you can see a round piece with 5 suds, that the hub assy. and the bearing is behind it.
The spindle is what the front wheel is mounted on. It is the shaft that the wheel bearing slides up on.
The rear wheel hub of any car would have to carry a bearing.
it is possible the wheel hub is damaged.
Wheel bearings on 1995 Geo Prizms are sealed units and cannot be repacked with grease. You must buy new bearings to be pressed on hubs by mechanic with proper tools. If bearings are worn, replace ASAP before bearings start damaging hubs, you'll save bunches of money.
You have to have the hub pressed out of the knuckle to replace the wheel studs.
If it anything like the 1995 CC Sedan, you replace the whole front wheel hubs, rather than just the bearing. Its easier & cheaper after you take workshop charges / parts into consideration.
