1999 Chevy lumina, won't start, security light comes on ,can jump the starter but motor will only run for a short time , strong battery ? tried different keys , no good ? help
Go to Chevy dealer with proof of ownership and VIN. They can cut you a fresh key.
Call a locksmith, they will come to your car. Road towing service can get in with a shim but may damage door. you can break a window if desperate. Call someone who has the extra set of keys.
break the window and grab the key good luck finding a window there bud
the ignition keys are dealer only items.
jeffs lock shop in jackson ohio and in gallipolis ohio at some other lock shop==$29 +tax
You should be able to take the VIN # (just inside the windshield on the drivers side dash) from your car, to the dealer and they might be able to get a set of keys for you. Not absolutely positive about this, but I have heard from a couple of people that this can be done. Hope this helps.
using radio keys under the temp buttons down u will see the slots on both sides where the keys slide in and lock then just pull on keys and climate control will slide out
The Bo-Keys was created in 1998.
Answerif the locksmith is not an option, you may be able to remove the rear seats and reach into the trunk.find and remove all the bolts holding the seats.be careful not to damage the seat belts.it will take some effort, but the job is not too hard. this is coming from someone who did the same thing. good luck!My 1991 Chevy Lumina has a button under the steering column that opens the trunk, that is if your door is open.
