If you mean a Harley-Davidson from 1995, you don't. The solenoid is an integral part of the starter. However, there are kits available to replace some of the solenoid parts.
drop the pan, then the valve body, the solenoid is above that
it have the AB shift solenoid the 3-2 pwm solenoid
thsy are inside the trans
which one?
It is possibly the shift interlock solenoid either defective or out of adjustment.
Could be a bad overdrive solenoid switch or relay. No, I don't know where they are on this car.
Lock up torque converter solenoid sticking. It is likely the electrical solenoid. You should replace it.
where is the transmission shift solenoid on 95 Lincoln town car? Answer: The shift solenoid is going to be located on the valve body of the transmission. Drop the tranny pan and you will see them. Also recommend going to youtube.com and looking things up that you're having problems with. Alot of people post answers like that on there and show videos and precedures on how to to things. One more thing if you goto Google.com and say for example "1995 Ford Explorer shift solenoid photos" I think the first link that pops up will have images right under that, click that link and it will show you A LOT of pictures discriptions and everything else about whatever it is you're looking for. I hope this helps as I am currently having to replace the shift solenoids in my 1995 Ford Explorer. Not difficult really just becareful not to lose springs or the retaining clips that hold the solenoids in place. Good Luck.
Sounds like a torque converter lock up solenoid.
