You can replace the starter, on your 1994 Chrysler town and country Van, by removing the starter wiring. Remove the three retaining bolts. The starter will come off. Reverse the process to install the new starter.
you have to remove the crossmember to do this.
replacement of the transmission dipstick tub seal on a 1994 s10 blazer

Yes.
It is mounted on the starter motor itself. When you get another starter, it will have the solenoid mounted on it already. If it is bad, just replace the starter, I would not change just the solenoid.
Pull the old one out and push the new one in. Depending on what year S10 you have, they have the relay mounted in different places.
remove the neg battery cable then the wires on the starter. Then take out the mounting bolts and work the starter out.
depends on how new 82-93 are the same but you cant fit a 1994-up dash in it
Is there a good site to go to asap to find how to replace a starter for a 1994 Honda Accord EX
i have 1994 s10 4cyl 2.2 and with my starter it was the wire between the starter and the solenoid. it was so high up and hidden under there that i didnt realize that this was the problem until i removed the old starter and replaced it with a new one. also, the wires were so close at the break that it would connect and start about 3 out of 5 times so changing the starter was just a shot in the dark that worked for me. Additional information needed: How does the starter motor turn but the solenoid not "fire"? If the solenoid is faulty, the starter won't turn at all. It sound more like the starter isn't actually engaging so the starter runs, but the gear doesn't come forward and turn the flywheel. You'll have to replace the starter
