Most of the time there is two of them. They look like just nuts with wires coming out of them sticking out of the intake. Once you find them release pressure in coolant lines and just unplug the wires and remove with the right size socket.
The coolant temperature sensor can be found on the front of the engine, near the thermostat. Remove the coolant temperature sensor retaining nut, to replace it.
