There is no 100 amp fuse powered by a 12 volt battery.
There is because it's blown! This fuse is in the engine bay and is secured by 2 M10 set screws accessible after the battery is removed. These are likely to be corroded.
There is a cover on it that peels down and a bolt on two sides holds the fuse in.
hi there could you please tell me what the 100 amp fuse is powering as they normally have fuseable links to power up main branch lines to the fuse box on the camry's
How do you remove taillight cover on a T-100 toyota Truck
Depends on what that fuse protects. Highly unlikely you can drive this car with a 100 amp fuse missing but possible.

100 AMP Fuse ReplacementNot sure , but if your talking about the 100 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood,,here goes.... Assuming you already have the fuse box cover off,,,,remove the battery to get it out of the way,,,remove the two bolts holding the fuse box ,,,the bottom of the fuse box comes off by depressing on each side near the bottom,, locate the large black and white wires that go into the fuse,,you'll need a screw driver to un-lock the fuse and fuse holder,,pulling slightly on the wires while depressing the latch ,,it should come out from the bottom,,,the two wires are bolted on to the fuse, remove the bolts and the fuse should slide out of the fuse holder,,,install new fuse,,bolt the wires back in place, insert the fuse and fuse holder back into the fuse box, replace the bottom of the fuse box, rebolt to the car,,re-install battery...New fuse cost about $10 from Toyota Dealer. If this is not what your asking for,,maybe it will help someone else.
Not 100% sure about the 98, but if it's anything like the 2003, it is likely a bolt in fuse. You will need to disconnect and perhaps remove the battery in order to reach and remove the fuse box hold down screws. Next, Slide the inner fuse panel out of the fuse box outer cover. After that, you should be be to access the two small bolts holding the fuse in place. Remove and replace the fuse, and reverse the above process. It can be quite tricky to get the inner box to slide out from the outer cover. Seems that the fuse box is Toyota's version of Rubick's cube.
AnswerThe 100 amp fuse is bolted in. You can not simple pull it out with a fuse puller or a pair of pliers. You have to remove the fuse box in the cars engine compartment. Then you need to remove the back pannel and gain access to the back of the fuse. Make sure you disconnect the battery first.Once you access the back of the fuse, simple unbolt the fuse you want to remove. Then you can pull it out and replace it with another.Pull fuses out bottom of fuse box . Then unbolt fuse to replace!! Not that easy for me!!!
