Fault code: P 0446. The valve is located behind the fender and beside the gas fill pipe. Jack up the rear of the car. Remove the hose and wire harness. Below the valve is a metal bracket support bolt. Remove it. The bracket should then slide out towards the rear of the vehicle.
After the bracket is removed put a flat screwdriver into the middle of the bracket support to release solenoid, (note where the valve is located on the bracket for the new solenoid position).

Raise the hood. On the right side should be a sticker that show you. Next to the canister with a plug on top of it.
It is located immediately underneath and behind the drivers side rear wheel, high near the gas tank filler hose. A 3/8" wrench will remove one bolt, allowing braket and solenoid to drop down.
The 1998 Buick Century shift solenoid is located on the top of the transmission. The shift solenoid can be access through the shifting console.
Charcoal canister is underneath your engine next to the gas tank. Cant miss it.
