jack up the vehicle place on jack stand remove the tire[s] remove brake drum remove upper retaing springs for theshoes ,then on the inner side of the backing plate locate the brake line loosen it completely then remove the bolts that secure the wheel cykinder to the backing plate remove wheel cylinder reverse procedure to install then bleed the cyklinder to complete the install.
Loosen and remove fitting from junction block Loosen and remove fitting from wheel cylinder Replace and reroute with new line of same size Bleed the affected wheel cylinder
I assume you're talking about the wheel brake cylinders. There is one on each wheel. The two in front clamp the brake disks. The two in back are inside the back drums.
overhauling a cylinder is a job for a pro, and not recommended...replace it with a new one..

You have to install the master cylinder that is compatible with your truck otherwise if will not work. There is really no difference in a 2wd & 4wd when it comes to the master cylinder.
