1. Remove glovebox - 2 bolts underneath
2. Remove trim on either side as necessary.
3. Remove aluminum bar - two 8mm bolts at either side of it.
4. Remove filter cover, remove filter.
5. Replacement is a reversal of above procedure.

I have a 2003 (may be the same for your 2006) and the cabin filter is behind the glove compartment. I had to remove the glove compartment and then I could get to the cabin filter to replace it. Kind of hard to get to, but I was able to do it myself.

Purchase a Purolator Cabin Filter, it comes with detailed instructions or you could just look and see if it is in the same place.
Replace the engine air filter and interior cabin filter. Replace the brake fluid. Other than changing the oil/filter that is all there is. Your owner's manual list all of this.
It is behind the bottom glove compartment.

You won't find one. It doesn't have one.
Open the glove box, push "in" on both sides of glovebow to allow it to fall forward. The filter is behind the glovebox door, squeeze both sides of filter holder inwards, and pull out.
