The Hydraulic clutch fitted to the rover 400 is a sealed unit and the only thing that you can do is to replace the complete unit
There aren't headlight covers, it all one unit. One of my lens was cracked and I had to replace the whole unit.
You cannot replace the headlight bulb. You need to buy a new headlight unit.
Remove backing plate on headlight unit.
The lens itself is part of the composite headlight assembly. It all has to be replaced as a unit.
A sealed beam headlight is just that. The unit is sealed and you replace the entire light. A composite is made of pieces that's why the name. To replace a composite you put a new blub in the back.
It is dependant on your make and model. You can either upgrade the entire headlight unit, or replace the bulb and add a ballast unit. In either case, you must ensure the headlight beam pattern is correct.
1. Remove 2 bolts and 2 phillip head bolts from the plastic plate holding the top of the headlight unit and remove the plate. 2. Remove the grill by removing 3 plastic screws holding top of grill and pull the grill up and out. 3. Open the plastic plate (no tool required) located on the grill side of headlight unit and unscrew the phillips head bolt that holds the bottom of the unit in place. 4. Pull the headlight unit forward. 5. Turn the round cap behind the bulb to be replaced counterclockwise and remove.
if its an 88 acura legend then you will need to remove the couple of bolts that hold it down and take it to the local auto store. like other cars you can just replace the bulb but on these acura you need to replace the whole headlight unit
No, the later system uses a fibre optic wiring harness and is not compatible with the earlier CD based system
easy job theres 3 Philips screw holding the plastic front range rover grill on indo all 3 then lift grill upwards and remove totally, then 3 x Philips screw holding headlight unit on undo all 3 then pull headlight complete unit towards you and disconnect the electrical connector on the rear, place haedlight down on a towel or something to stop the lens being scratched then simply unscrew the round black plastic circles on the back of unit to get to the bulb holder itself, it takes around 15 minutes working slowly and carefully, if you throw parts around and place headlights on floors etc... you can do it in 10 minutes
These units are sealed. You have to replace the whole unit.
