What do you do if the SRS light will not go out?
I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey and have had the car in 4 times with the SRS light on--every time their computer says to replace the passenger side seat belt. Every time, the light comes on the first time a passenger is in it; I take it back, they do something, the light goes out, but comes on again in a month or so. It is on again right now. I have asked them to query Honda about this, but I do not think the dealer is being honest about this, because it keeps being a problem. I recently replace the battery on my 2000 Honda Odyssey. When I restarted the van, my SRS light came on and stayed on. I told the dealer the battery story and asked if it just needed to be reset. They said no. The dealer says I need a new "unit". This is around $300. I have a hard time believing this as I have never seen this light before and all of the sudden, my SRS is on after replacing the battery. My step dad says that I should try to take the hot wire off the battery and leave it off for 15 minutes then put it back on. As soon as I get my van back, without a new "unit", I will try this! If your SRS light is on due to a faulty seat belt switch Honda foots the bill!! Go to another dealer. Answer 2 Fix SRS for Free I have a 2002 Honda Odyssey. Several months ago, the SRS light came on and stayed on. Recently I called Goudy Honda in Alhambra, CA to reset the light. They told me it would cost $ 95 for compute check. After they checked it, they told me they need to fix a side air bag chip and everything is free. I am very surprised.

Why are cars designed to leave lights on when ignition off?
Let's say you park your car outside at night and not in a garage. The AUTOMATIC lights will stay on long enough to light the area up and give you time to get inside. They will then go off. Lights in a car without auto lights are designed to be turned on without the ignition being on for safety reasons. If you are driving along at night and your ignition fails you lights will still be on. Also lights draw too much amperage to be routed through the ignition switch. What does SRS stand for on the a dashboard of a 2001 Honda civic EX?
How can you fix the Srs warning light for a 2003 Mercedes c240?
It is usually the seat belt buckle portion of your seat belt, the part secured to the floor or seat of the car but you will need to check this out with a local independent shop that has a scan tool to read this. You can just replace it with another from Ebay pretty easily, once you know that is the cause which most likely it is.

Why would one windscreen wiper not work on a MG TF?
the linkage arm is broken or disconnected. The wiper motor drives a mechanical linkage which connects both arms. Either something is broken or has become disconnected. You will need to look at it to see what the problem is. Sorry I dont know what bits of plastic/trim need to be removed. Open the bonnet and look at the top to try and uncover it.
Why is your 1992 diamante srs light on?
On my '92 Diamante LS, I've noticed that the SRS light turns on when the battery's low on power. It could just be a massive coincidence, but I'd have the battery and alternator checked. If that doesn't solve your problem, have the airbag system checked -- that's one system you do not want failing. ~Pengauin
