No, not the way the original wheels were designed. The spoke holes will not hold air.
the linkage arm is broken or disconnected.
The wiper motor drives a mechanical linkage which connects both arms. Either something is broken or has become disconnected. You will need to look at it to see what the problem is. Sorry I dont know what bits of plastic/trim need to be removed. Open the bonnet and look at the top to try and uncover it.
how often do i have to change the timing belt on my rover400
SRS stands for Supplemental Restraint System which is the airbags which you should get diagnosed soon as possible because it is the safety
Follow the top hose from the radiator to the engine block. The thermostat is in the housing that the hose is connected to at this location
The MG Midget was produced in Australia and Abingdon, England in 1961. Production stopped in 1980 with over 200,000 cars being made.
If its a diesel like mine its an absolute pg to get to.
Its in an aluminium housing at the front bottom of the engineblock covered by a million pipes.
You have to take out radiator and intercooler and umpteen pipes and hoses before you can even see the housing let alone get it off to remove the thermostat.
Good luck, you will need it. I have been in the trade 45 years and its the worst I have come across.

Steve
I think it has something to do with the airbag. Safety Restraint System?
