The coil and distributor are one unit, there for, no coil wire. Yes it is a sealed unit and has to be replaced as one.

Could be several things. Replace your air filter if its dirty, try adjusting your idle screw, remove your distributor cap and check if there's any play on the rotor (if there is, then replace it), check for corrosion on the pins inside the distributor cap.
Remove the plastic cover over the switch at the clutch pedal. The CRX switch can be unscrewed and replaced by disconnecting the wires and twisting the switch out.
