Right under the chin of the car, find the black plastic door. There are two twist locks to open it. Once inside, use a nutdriver to pull out the single screw. The whole housing assembly will slide back and down. It may be a tight fit, but it does come apart if you tug on it. Once you have that out, you will see the clips hold the scraps of the old lens. Pry these off, and clip the new lens into place. Then just reverse steps to re-install.

Right below the fog light is a door in the rock shield. Once in there unplug the wires and there is two screws from the bottom holding lamp in place. The lenses is held in place with three spring clamps. Fairly easy.

Most likely cause would be the stop lamp switch, located on the brake pedal. Do you know the code? If the code is C1200 then it IS the stop lamp switch. Just remove the underdash panel and you can see and replace the switch.
