it isn't to complicated all you need is pretty slinky hands, i have the same truck. what i did first was unbolted it from the side of the engine so all was holding it was the fuel lines, the fuel lines were pretty tight on mine but with incouragement they'll loosen up and come off, alot of fuel is going to come out of the lines though, a really messy thing to do, doesn't smell that great eithor unless you like the sent of gasoline lol.it is under the vacuum on the drivers side of the engine, i would do it when the engine was cool cause you have to reach pretty fare down next to the engine a warm engine isn't exactly comfertable to work on.but you will have to reach around alot of stuff to get to the fuel filter which is why you need slinky hands. i used my small ratchets to loosen the bolts and used my fingers for the rest not much room for a regular sized ratchet i hope this helps you
