Push the yellow lever to the left to drain the fuel from the filter housing and then push it back to the original position. Unscrew the lid of the filter housing and pull out the filter (it is attached to the lid) Remove the filter from the lid by pulling it off. Remove the o-ring from the lid Reattach the new filter and o-ring to the lid Place the new filter and lid back into the housing and hand tighten. Before you start the truck: Cycle the key to the on position (do not start the truck) and wait until you hear the fuel pump stop, do this 3 or 4 times to prime the fuel system. Now you are ready to start the truck!
