The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. To access it you need to pull up the carpet in the trunk just beneath the back seats to get to the access panel. You can either go through the trunk, or go through the little door between the two back seats.
Unbolt the access door and remove it to reveal the pump. Disconnect the 3 fuel lines and then the power. Once all of the wires are removed, you need to take a pair of pliers or something similar to squeeze the snap ring inwards. There are two little holes in the outer snap ring near the white tab that you should use when squeeze inwards.
Once the snap ring is out, just pull the pump straight up and then play with it a bit to remove it. Then just follow these directions in reverse to put the new pump back in. You might have some trouble pushing the new pump in, but whatever you do DO NOT PUSH ON THE PLASTIC FUEL LINES. They can break very easily.
