there is a white clip inside the hood. pull it up alittle...then pull the entire light cover off...then just replace the light and put it back in. be sure not to force in back in or you will break the white plastic clip! (like i did) if you do they are only like $2

Should I buy a used foreign car or a new domestic car?

You can have a much more accurate answer if you elaborate makes, but generally even a used foreign car will out last and out comfort a domestic car, unless you are aiming at a Fiesta or something really rock solid. If you have watching T.V. recently and have seen any ads with Mike Rowe endorsing a car, the ones he endorses have preformed exceptionally compared to the foreign competition. Stay away from: Daewoo Old KIAs Old Hyundais The French The Spanish Chevrolet Aveo 1970-2000 Fords 1970-2000 Chevrolets Chevrolet HHR Buick Le Sabre Buick Lucerne The Yugo Old Suzukis Lincoln Towncar Nissan Versa Mercury Mountaineer Chrysler Sebring Chrysler PT Cruiser Dodge Avenger Jeep Compass Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Pontiac Aztec Good cars: Alfa Romero Mito Fiat 500 Volkswagen Golf Volkswagen Jetta (be careful) Volkswagen Passat (again, be careful) New Hyundais New KIAs (2008-present) Nissan Sentra (be very careful) Toyota Camry Toyota Corolla (boring, but reliable) Honda Accord Honda Civic (MUST HAVE RECORDS!) Ford Taurus New Lincolns (minus the Towncar) Ford Focus (RECORDS!) Ford Fiesta The lists above are in no order.
