How do you replace the heat resistor coil in a 1999 Chevy Tahoe and where does it go?

It's held on by only two screws on the top side of the blower venting system. I believe when you remove the glovebox and move some wires and a possibly a bracket, you'll see the top of the plug back there. It's pretty tight, so you may have to bend the coils on the resistor to get it out. And you'll need to slightly bend the new ones too. Just make sure none are touching by the time your ready to drop it in. The plug plugs DOWN with the coils(resistors) hidden in the air duct when installed. Hope that helps. scott in Alaska

The neutral safety switch, on your 1999 Chevy Tahoe, simply plugs in. Unplug the neutral safety switch and replace it with a new one.
