I have a 94 Saturn 1.9 and just replaced the serpinetine belt and installed a new ideler pully and belt pulley tensoner.
First raise frount of car and support it on jack stands block back wheels and disconect pos batt cable.
take frount passanger side tire off.
remove inner wheel cover.
use a pice of wood on a jack and take a little presure off of the engine not much.make sure that wood is under oil pan as not to damage oil pan.
take top motor mount off, don't worry motor will not fall as you have the jack in place.
use correct wrench and turn bolt on the delt tensoner, lift belt off of all pullys.
With same wrench lossen bolt off and remove tenssoner pully assy.
Now is a good time to replace v-belt and ideler pully and belt tenssoner pully assy. it cost me 32.00 for belt and 111.00 for tensonner assy and 56.00 for ideler pully.
Put it all back the way you took it off
Toke me about 2 hours not in a hurry
