On my 1997 Expedition I found a rubber boot directly underneath the forward light in the running board. There is one Phillips head screw at the front of the boot. Just remove the screw and pull the boot down far enough to expose the plastic socket that holds the light bulb. Turn 1/4 turn counter clockwise to remove the socket and bulb. The bulb is a small wedge base bulb that pulls straight out (it's a smaller bulb but identical to the 7 watt wedge base bulbs for your exterior walkway lamps). Just pop in the replacement bulb and push the socket back into it's hole, turn clockwise 1/4 turn to lock it in and replace the screw to hold the boot in place. I used a Sylvania 194 (4.6 watt) replacement bulb--not sure if that's exactly right but it works!
If you go to the parts store they will tell you, and since your there you can also buy them.
They probably aren't grounded.
How do you replace the fog light located on a 2003 Ford Expedition?
If I recall correctly. It should be a peanut light bulb. And if it is a peanut bulb they just pull straight out.
You get under the running boards right under the lights. there is a little plastic housing. pull this housing down and change light bulb is that easy.
I hope your referring to the light bulbs. If so, I think they are the #194 mini bulbs. Your Local Parts Store will be able to verify this info.
Remove the tail light housing and replace the bulbs.
Check engine light is out
Very carefully
I went to the dealer, and I have been quoted $90.00 to replace the climate control nob light bulb. How do I get to the dash board to replace it?
It cannot be removed completely. The front of the cover is held in place by a plastic clip pin that can be pried off, then the front of the cover can be bent down to allow access to the bulb and wiring.
It is not a serviceable part.
