did this myself...first remove the battery, then unscrew the 3 Phillips head screws holding the bulb in. Pull the bulb out and wire connector piece out, detach bulb from the wire set and plug new bulb in to wire set/connector. Put bulb and wire connector back into the hole you removed it from, re attach the 3 Philips head screws, put the battery back in and hook the battery back up and you are ready to go!
