I've got a better question, why is this question in the Chevy venture forum ?
Usually in housing at engine end of upper radiator hose
Lower front section of engine behind the radiator (4 cyl)
Look for a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
Bout $100 or so... if you do it yourself..Shop around
2.2L Between the radiator and engine,,,, 2.4L Between the engine and firewall....both bolted to the engine head.
To replace the thermostat on a 91 Cavalier you need to drain the radiator. Remove the top radiator hose and water inlet. Remove the thermostat from under the inlet. Install the new thermostat and reinstall the inlet and hose. Fill the radiator with fresh antifreeze.
Why are ets and engine light on in 98 Chevy cavalier
Timing chains are designed to last the life of the engine and are replaced when the engine is rebuilt.
How do you remove and replace wiper switch on 2002 Chevy Cavalier
check engine oil for water and check radiator for oil
Probably on the front lower section of engine behind radiator--follow + battery cable
Either at the bottom or the rear of the radiator
In front of the engine and behind the front bumper. If you have a drivers license you should not be asking this question.

I am trying to drain old antifreeze and replace with new and cannot figure out how to remove the radiator plug on my 2001 Chevy impala 3400V6 engine?
It is on the bottom of the radiator. Sometimes it is easier to remove the lower radiator hose.
Follow the top radiator hose back to the engine block. The thermostat is inside the housing where the radiator hose connects to the block.
Connected to the upper radiator hose. Coolant flows from the engine to the radiator to be cooled. The coolant temp. sensor should be screwed into it.
The 98 Cavalier 2.4 is a NON interference engine.
no the radiator fan will only run when the engine is up to temp and needs to cool back down usually 180 to 220 degrees
Drain the Cavaliers radiator. Remove the top radiator hose, and the inlet pipe. Take the thermostat out from under the inlet pipe and replace it. Reinstall the pipe and hose, then refill the radiator.
