To replace the radio in a 2001 Corolla, first disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Remove the trim panel around the radio using a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool, then unscrew and pull out the existing radio. Disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable from the back of the radio. Finally, connect the new radio's wiring harness, secure it in place, and reattach the trim panel before reconnecting the battery.
