right below the starter is a metal bracket. It is held on by a tiny schock, a torx bolt, two or three fifteen millimeter bolts, and there are some fifteen millitmeter nuts that hold the bottom of the bracket that sit in the oval/rectangle cutouts of the engine cradle. After you take those out you have to jack up the engine high enough to remove the bracket. Then you will need to remove a little oil shield that sits between the transmission and engine. It should be right above the starter. This will enable you to take out the two bolts holding the starter in. I had to do mine in the drive way so if you are doing the same, then i found it easier to jack the engine up by placing a piece of wood on a jack and lifting it by the transmission pan.
