Remove tail light housing. Remove lamp. Replace lamp. Replace tail light housing.
OPEN THE REAR HATCH DOOR REMOVE THE 2 BLACK SCREWSHOLDING THE BLACK PLASTIC HOUSING OF THE LAMP ASSEMBLY REMOVE THE HOUSING SWING OUT THE LAMP ASSEMBLY TO EXPOSE THE BACK OF IT TWIST THE BURNED OUT BULB HOLDER REPLACE BULB REINSTALL BUD
You have a bulb blown on the out side some where.
1) Open hatch. 2) Remove two screws at tabs on rear of light assembly. 3) Pull light assembly away from fender in direction perpendicular to side of vehicle. 4) turn bulb/lamp socket and remove from light assembly. 5) Pull bulb from socket. 6) Replace bulb. 7) Test lamp. 8) Installation is reverse to above.

The light assy has to be removed to take the bulbs out.

Remove the headlight directly above the fog light,you can reach down easily to access the lamp
Pop open the hood There's a twist screw on the top of the parking lamp that you need to unscrew Next, grab the parking lamp (not the headlamp) and give it a good pull straight out Twist the connectors, replace bulb, and you're good to go
From behind the light bezel (under the truck) quarter turn and remove the lamp holder. Replace with an "893" type bulb
The lamp in the top brake light of a Toyota Highlander can be replaced by the locating the light housing from the trunk. Find the light cover and remove it to access the lights. Replace the bulbs.
Some lights can be accessed from the trunk and some you have to take the light assy off.
