The thermostat and housing is one piece located on passenger side of water pump.remove that end of top radiator house unbolt housing go to part store and purchase another be sure to compare to old one. New one goes on same way old one came off do not overtorque bolts reconnect that end of radiator hose. Top off with coolant run the engine it will read hot kill it, wait you have to keep checking until thermostat opens to fill coolant to proper level. Do not just let it run with the temperature guage pegged to hot, kill it and wait for a few minutes then crank it again
and let it run until thermostat opens. Top off check for leaks. Be sure to still check for leaks a couple of day later.
