1. Unhook the ground cable from the battery. 2. Remove all the belts from the car and drain the cooling system. 3. Remove the water pump pulley. 4. Remove the crankshaft pulley--requires big impact wrench. 5. Remove the timing belt covers. 6. This is also a good time to remove the timing belt and its tensioner, so you can replace them. You'll have to put a jack with a block of wood on it under the oil pan so you can remove one of the engine mounts. If you don't, you'll never get the new timing belt on because the mount is inside the belt's circumference. 7. Remove the water pump. 8. Install a new water pump, a new timing belt and a new TB tensioner. 9. Put the car back together..."installation is the reverse of removal." Use new belts. 10. Recharge your cooling system, and you're done.

The water pump is located in the timing belt area. If its leaking you will want to replace the belt also as coolant will shorten the life of the belt. Don't forget to check the crankshaft & camshaft oil seals and do them while you're in there.
