∙ 12y agoIt's been a while since i had mine off, but basically you need to drain the cooling system, remove the battery and panels etc, you need to remove the wiper arms and the whole wiper system tray, which looks scary but unbolts and lifts off in one piece. The thermostate housing is situated at the back right hand side off the engine, it's held in place by three bolts, and you need to disconnect a couple off pipes. You feel like you need to stand on your head to get to it, quite aukward. The thermostat is not removable from the housing, you have to buy the housing, and mine cost me £140 from Chrysler, plus £8 for the gasket. Beware i originally got a thermostat from a pattern supplyer, only to find when i had the car in bit's that it was wrong, and no one else but Chrysler seems to sell it.
