Ya jack it up,remove the the wheel,under the hood,remove the two 18 mm nuts from the control arm near the strut,remove the cotter pin and nut from the upper ball joint and smackit with a hammer,and install new control arm with ball joint.
I saved a sht load doing it myself.and it only took about an hour.dont get raped by those aholes
