The valve cover gasket, on a 2004 Jeep liberty, can be found by removing the valve cover. Peel the gasket off of the head and replace with a new gasket.
on a 4.0 it should be under the exhaust manifold
To replace the valve cover gaskets on a 2003 Jeep Liberty, the valve cover is removed. The old gasket is then removed from both the valve cover and the manifold (old gasket will come off in pieces on both sides). Then spread the sealant on the manifold, place the new gasket on, then put sealant on top of the gasket and replace the valve cover and bolt down.

Looking at the front of the motor, the egr valve is located on the right lower side of the carburetor.
doesn't have a choke , but has an enrichener valve , remove the bolts that hold the valve ,take it out unplug & replace ,can be found near throttle body .
PCV valve is on top of one of your valve covers and it should just pull out there should be a big rubber line on it
On the front side of the throttle body on the left side is a air valve with 2 tork screws. Remove it and clean the carbon out with gumout spray or replace it. That is the fast idle valve. that is why when you start your engine it revs and idles down.
