The computer only resets when the battery is removed. The alternator just charges the battery, so if the battery is left connected when the alternator is replaced, the computer should not reset.

I reset the code after a dead battery and it was the wrong code, how can I reset it and /or find the corrrect code
Try temporally disconnecting the ground cable off the battery, the stereo may reset itself and spit out the disc.
Disconnect battery cables from battery for 30 minutes and then reconnect battery it then resets.
You have to get a code for it. You can get from the internet ir Mitsubishi, but its not free.
seats won't move- steering column won't move...battery replaced. need to reset easy access convenience package
