One option to reset is to disconnect the positive (+) battery cale on the battery for 3 minutes. Then reconnect it , this will reboot the computer and the light. SORRY: It doesnt work on the Nissan 2003 350z to do this.

no you don't need to reset the computer. but it is always a good idea to reset it when replacing any censors. just unhook the battery cable( negative) for 30 seconds then put it back on and drive 50-75 miles to reset the computer.
