To reset the computer on a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, unhook the battery for about five minutes. Then reconnect the battery. If this does not work, look for the reset button on the computer and manually reset it.
can i reset it or replace it ,where is it on the car
You don't really need to reset the computer. It does have base programming. However, it is recommended to take the car out and drive it about 10 miles. Some of this needs to be at highway speed. This will help it to "learn" the exact settings it needs. That should do it.
Sometimes it is best to reset the computer of a car to help maintain it. To reset a computer a person needs to take their car to a dealership, and ask for the task to be done.

I have a 1993 olds cutlass supreme and I removed the fuse for the ecm. Its located in the main fuse box in the glove box. I know 1994 was the 1st year for the airbag so Im not sure if it uses the same dash layout as the 93. And as an added measure I also removed the positive battery cable and let the vehicle sit for 10 minutes I believe that you can also reset the whole car by pressing the gas pedal all the way to the floor and letting it out 3 consecutive times. It will reset the WHOLE car.

I have an 89 and you unhook the battery for at least 30 seconds and hook it back up. TRY THIS FOR A 1995 CUTLASS 1) Unhook the positive and negative battery cables. 2) Wait 10 minutes. 3) Press the brake pedal in for 1 second 4) Touch the positive & negative cables together for 3 seconds 5) Hook the both cables to the battery. Start car. Just did today 10-24-209 Another way is to use an OBD reader to reset. This does not work on 96 cutlass using the innavo 3120 model reader from shucks
