How do you reset the Low-Refrig AC Off-12 computer message on a 1998 Cadillac Deville Concours so that R134a freon can be added The problem is AC will not turn on so that freon can be added.?

When you add to it it will come on as soon as the pressure rises to the correct psi to trigger the switch, if you have a guage shoot for about 200 psi on the high side and it should be around 50 on the low. I recently replaced the compressor, drier, and temperature switch on my Isuzu and charged the system with the compressor off until the pressure level rose high enough to trigger the switch. It took quite a while to get the system up to full pressure ( several add attempts with wait time in the middle for system equalization ) every Tech I contacted told me dont do it, it wont work when I'm done but It works great and is the coldest air I have ever felt.
