i was checking fuses on 1994 toyota camry and airbag light turned on.
To reset the airbag light on a 1994 Honda Civic locate the wiring for the SRS unit underneath the dashboard. There will be a yellow clip that connects to a fuse box. Unplug it and jump the sensor using two small wires. Turn the car on and off twice to reset the light.
You will have to repair the problem causing the light to flash. Many auto parts stores can read the computer for the error and will often do this for free.
The air bag light is on because there is a problem with the air bag system. Until the problem is fixed the light will remain on and the air bag will not function if needed.
Most of the time if you disconnect the battery for 20 min. and the hook it back up it will reset unless you have an airbag sensor that is bad. Always unhook the neg. terminal of the battery. (no sparks that way)
Disconnect the battery, which you should do anyway when replacing an ignition. There will then be no danger of it inflating.
For the 1994, you have to remove the negative battery cable, then depress the brake and hold it in for 5 seconds to reset the check engine light.
It is in the trunk, hatch of the vehicle under a small square trim panel on the passengerside of the vehicle.
A 1994 Ram does not have a passenger side airbag.
There is a problem with the SRS in your vehicle. This is not a DIY repair. Take it to a professional ASAP.
Reset procedures are generally done by computer at a dealer or qualified service center with the correct computer controller connection. Most of the "home mechanic" testors available to regular consumers will not reset this. However, the problem may not be as simple as a 'reset'. Their are a few 'Recall' situations for certain Camry and Corolla model years. For example, a 1994 Corolla has a recall (Recall ID# 96V107000) that adds a plastic cover over an airbag sensor in the console box area and replaces the sensor if necessary. One exists for the Camry as well. Your best bet is to check to see what, if any recalls are out there for your vehicle at http://www.recalls.gov.
there is a switch up under the brake pedal
