Hold down the split-reset button down for 5 seconds.
I would look for a vacuum leak under the hood. If the check engine light is on have an auto parts store read the code(s). The code(s) will help you find the source of the problem.
Turn key to on position with out starting. Press the select/reset knob until the "engine oil life indicator" is displayed. Hold down the knob for at least 10 seconds. The "engine oil life indicator" will blink. Hold down the select/reset knob for at least 5 seconds. The "engine oil life indicator" will be reset to 100%.
Every car is different but you might find the reset code in your manual, otherwise a dealer will have to reset it for you. I did this twice before learning to put in my own code so I could do it myself. The instructions for that are in the manual as well.
dont need the current code...under drivers side dash. you will have to basically lay down in the floor. you will see a sticker with the factory code. you will have to use that to reset the door code. those instructions will be in your owners manual.
To reset service light on Toyota Auris one can activate the code error reader which is a diagnostic tool. You can also hold down the odometer reset button.
The code to reset the radio is specific to your car. No one will know that code. If you cannot find the code written down somewhere, contact your Buick dealer for instructions on how to get the code. The radio may need to be removed to get the radio serial # and with that the code, or the selling dealer may have it on file.
Auto Zone will check your engine light for free... Write down the codes and go from there.

Push the mileage reset button on the instrument cluster down as if you were reseting the trip mileage and turn the key on.hold for about 30 seconds or until the check engine light goes off.
Turn on the key but don't start the engine. Push down and release the accelerator pedal 3 times. It will now reset.
